  Island painter Michael Horn

The island painter elected and appointed since June 2017, Michael Horn is exhibitinghislatestworkat the Trompshuys (pictured).

On 29 June 2018, Michael painted at the Colorfields Performance in Sloten. A projectbyDirkHakzefor Leeuwarden Cultural Capital City 2018 (see photo).

Several other paintings can be viewed at his home/atelier on Dorpsstraat 145.

If he is at home or at work himself, you will have the chance to meet him.

The meteor tower of the military camp on Vlieland is decorated with various art whatisrelatedtothe sky and wind. You can view this exhibition by joining the Noordwesterexcursion.Thisexcursionor guided tour is given every other week.
