Viewpoint north side on the seadune on Fortweg
The Fortweg runs from the port/commercial area on Vlieland to the eastern tip of the island (on the beach you will find beach pavilion OOST).
At the end of the Fortweg there is a high dune, especially on the north side of the Fortweg (previously there were Atlantic Wall bunkers from the 2nd World War here, but they have all been blown up).
You can walk right up the high dune from the Fort Road, the highest point being about 100m to the north, but right next to the road you have a great view of the eastern tip of the island.
Tip: bring binoculars....
