Viewpoint Vuurboetsdune south side
The Vuurboetsduin is Vlieland´s highest dune, which is also home to Vlieland´s lighthouse.
From the lookout point on the south side of the Vuurboetsduin, you have a magnificent view of the village and the Wadden Sea south of Vlieland. In season, many ships often fall dry on the mud apartments in Vlieland´s bend.
From the Vuurboetssplein on the west side of the village, a long staircase leads up to this viewpoint.
