If you want to camp on Vlieland, you can do so at camping Stortemelk or camping De Lange Paal. Camping Stortemelk (overview map) is closer to the village than camping De Lange Paal. Stortemelk is situated in a natural dune area. The campsite is just one row of dunes away from the beach and the sea. The campsite is suitable for young and old and many activities are organised in high season. The campsite has its own supermarket, coffee shop and restaurant de Bolder, where you can enjoy a pleasant meal.
