
`Classical songs, piano solos and French chansons` by Maria Pedano

Soprano Maria Pedano and pianist Illia Fialko
join forces for a musical evening full of virtuosity, feeling and
compelling sounds.
This evenings programme promises a rich
variety: before the interval, songs by Faure, Debussy and Poulenc will
be heard, followed by Schumanns `Carnival` op. 9 (piano solo). After
the intermission, the programme includes Ravels `Une barque sur
l`ocean`, Liszts `Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2` and chansons by such
greats as Aznavour, Piaf and Brel.
An evening of masterful
singing, virtuoso piano art and unforgettable musical moments - a must
for any lover of classical and vocal music.
This concert is
realised in cooperation with the Melopee Foundation.
About the
musicians:
Maria Pedano (soprano/ oboe), a versatile musical
talent, has previously performed in the Concertgebouw, Carre and the
Muziekgebouw aan `t IJ and collaborated with renowned orchestras such
as the Metropole Orkest and the Residentie Orkest. Her expressive
voice and stage presence make her an exceptional soloist and chamber
musician.
Illia Fialko (piano), from Ukraine, recently
graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory of Music with the highest
distinction. A gifted pianist, he has won many prizes at home and
abroad and performs a wide repertoire of classical to contemporary
music.
Together, Maria and Illia form an intimate musical duo and are
also active in the Pedano Trio.

Admission tickets can be reserved and paid for
(Ideallink when booking). You will receive a confirmation email with
your admission ticket (QR code) after payment. The QR code is your
admission ticket and will be scanned at the entrance (on your phone is
sufficient).
You will receive the programme by email a few days
before the concert.
Tickets can also be bought (if still available)
from 20:00 at the church (concert starts at 20:30).
