Don`t panic, Just Classical is a surprising musical cocktail of classical, jazz and film music.

Pianist, composer and storyteller Maxim Heijmerink takes you through his musical life. From Beethoven to Bacewicz, Scarlatti to Gershwin: well-known works are introduced in a personal and light-hearted way. Maxim recently played Beethovens fifth piano concerto in Leipzig and has just returned from his artist residency in Banff Centre, Canada. His programme is full of stories, humour and unexpected twists. It even includes Pirates of the Caribbean, with a nod to his youth. His own compositions such as Autumn Feelings also get a place.

About the musician:

Maxim studied in Amsterdam, New York and Leipzig and has already appeared on stages in the United States, Canada and across Europe such as Carnegie Hall and The Concertgebouw Amsterdam. His style is accessible, virtuosic and energetic. Classical without stiffness: don`t panic, just classical.

You will receive the programme by email just before the concert.
Admission tickets can also be purchased (if still available) from 20:00 at the church (concert starts at 20:30).
