Island painter Michael Horn, elected and appointed since June 2017, is exhibiting his latest work in his own studio at dorpsstraat 145.
On 29 June 2018, Michael painted at the Colorfields Performance in Sloten. A project by Dirk Hakze for Leeuwarden Cultural Capital 2018 (see photo).
If he is at home or at work himself, you will have the chance to meet him yourself.
At the back of the Vlieland Maritime clothing shop, you will imagine yourself in a bright gallery. Vlieland Maritime Art consists of island-inspired art. In the gallery, you will find paintings, photos and sculptures. Mostly on the theme of Vlieland but with beautiful exceptions.
The Podium Vlieland also hosts changing exhibitions. From photo art to poetry, visual art and film art at the Podium there are various possibilities. Podium Vlieland also organises film weekends with themes look at www.podiumvlieland.nl for the agenda of the film weekends.
At the Lifeboat Barn on Badweg, near the beach, you will find ever-changing exhibitions by various artists. The gallery has a glass greenhouse where the owner makes her own ceramic art.
In the corridor that connects the left and right part of the hotel, an exhibition area has been furnished. This art changes every six months.
