 Gallery The Island Pearl

De Eiland Parel is a surprising gallery.
Exhibitions are held here by the owner Nel Potiek, among others, and many other painters from the island, but also elsewhere.
Jewellery, ceramics and Vlieland souvenirs can also be found here.
A small shop with lots to look at.

  Island painter Michael Horn

The island painter elected and appointed since June 2017, Michael Horn is exhibiting his latest work at the Trompshuys (pictured).

On 29 June 2018, Michael painted at the Colorfields Performance in Sloten. A project by Dirk Hakze for Leeuwarden Cultural Capital City 2018 (see photo).

Several other paintings can be viewed at his home/atelier on Dorpsstraat 145.

If he is at home or at work himself, you will have the chance to meet him.

At the back of the Vlieland Maritime clothing shop, you will imagine yourself in a bright gallery. Vlieland Maritime Art consists of island-inspired art. In the gallery, you will find paintings, photos and sculptures. Mostly on the theme of Vlieland but with beautiful exceptions.

In the Lifeboat Barn on the Badweg, close to the beach, you will find ever-changing exhibitions by various artists.

  exhibition in Hotel Seeduyn

An exhibition area has been set up in the corridor connecting the left and right parts of the hotel. This art changes every six months.

 The military camp

The meteor tower of the military camp on Vlieland is decorated with various art what is related to the sky and wind. You can view this exhibition by joining the Noordwester excursion. This excursion or guided tour is given every other week.
