On Vlieland, you will find holiday accommodation in the dunes, directly behind the sea front and therefore very close to the beach.

Most of the holiday residences in the dunes are privately owned and rented out arrange the rental themselves. So no gutter holiday park, but individual cottages in the dunes dunes.

In the woods between village and beach are holiday residences.

The advantage of the holiday homes in the woods is the shelter of the woods and the central location on the island.

The number of holiday residences is limited and you won't encounter large numbers of holidaymakers you won't encounter massive numbers of holidaymakers.

In the village you will also find shops for essential groceries and terraces and restaurants.

About 1100 inhabitants live in the village, so everything is nice and small-scale.
